Dr. Reucar Quijada is a dedicated primary care pediatrician with over 25 years of experience providing compassionate healthcare to children and families in Washington Heights and Inwood, NY.  

A proud Venezuelan, Dr. Quijada received his medical degree from Pedro Henriquez Ureña University (UNPHU) in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic and completed his pediatric training with the Mount Sinai School of Medicine program at Elmhurst Hospital in New York, where he developed a strong foundation in pediatrics and a passion for supporting young patients' health and well-being. Dr. Quijada joined Pediatrics 2000 in 2001. 

Beyond his professional work, Dr. Quijada is an avid sports fan who enjoys spending quality time with his family, especially his beloved granddaughter. His approachable demeanor and deep commitment to his community have made him a trusted figure in the lives of countless families. Dr. Quijada has a passion for General Pediatrics and Urgent Care.  

Dr. Quijada is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
